What a wonderful weekend at the UK PMU Conference 🙌

I’m incredibly grateful to have been awarded 3rd Place for Microblading Artist of the Year. To be recognised amongst so many talented artists is something I don’t take for granted, and I’m genuinely honoured.

A huge thank you to the organisers @ukpmuconference for creating such a fantastic event and bringing together so many passionate professionals from across the industry. It was inspiring to spend time with artists who continue to raise the standard of our craft.

Congratulations to all of the finalists and winners. The level of talent in the room was truly exceptional, and it was a privilege to celebrate alongside you all.

One of the highlights of the weekend was finally meeting Kristina from @5starbrows in person after following her work for so long. It’s always special when the people behind the artistry are every bit as inspiring as their reputation.

Moments like these remind me how much I love this industry and how fortunate I am to do what I do every day.

So technically… I’ve been practising line work since I was 5 😁

FUN FACT: My parents sent me to Chinese school every weekend from the age of 5–15 😳

At the time, I definitely didn’t appreciate it…

It was hard, repetitive, and learning a language with no alphabet felt almost impossible at times 😫

But now I’m older (and slightly wiser 😅), I can see what it gave me… 🙌

The patience…
The concentration…
The discipline of repetition…
The art within each character…
The order, flow, and intention behind every stroke…

Looking back, I genuinely think those years shaped the way I work today…the precision, the line work, the focus, and the ability to sit in the details… 😁

So thank you Mum and Dad for forcing me 😂
